Super Application – Supernumeraries, or “supers” as they are commonly known, are silent actors engaged to play supplementary roles in an opera.  Please complete the linked form in order to be added to our database of potential super performers.  You will be contacted if your data meets our casting needs.

Intimacy Staging Guidelines (updated April 2023) – Minnesota Opera is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and collaborative workplace. Ensuring dignity and respect between the performer and the creative team is essential to the success of establishing a safe space for a scene to thrive. This document addresses policies and procedures specifically related to staging and performing scenes of intimacy onstage in Minnesota Opera productions. Minnesota Opera maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, as outlined in our separate Discrimination, Harassment, and Inappropriate Behavior policy.

St. Paul Parking Information – During calls at the Ordway Center for Performing Arts you will need to park in a pay lot or ramp in downtown St. Paul.  We do not recommend parking at meters as they have a two hour limit and your calls will exceed two hours.  Following is a list of suggested lots and ramps.  Driving directions assume you are exiting I-94 at 5th Street.
